Integration Support

This Project focuses on providing language training for refugees, hosted in collaboration with the European Parliament. By offering structured courses in the languages of host countries, the program aims to support refugees in building essential communication skills, easing their integration into society, and expanding opportunities for education and employment.

Hand in Hand

Starting life in a new country is never easy. From finding your way around the city to understanding cultural habits, the first days can feel overwhelming. Hand in Hand is our initiative to make this journey warmer, easier, and more welcoming.

Through this project, every newcomer is connected with a local partner. The local offers guidance with everyday tasks, introduces the newcomer to community life, and provides a friendly hand to hold during those important first steps.

COMPASS Initiative (new phase until 2027)

Developed by IOM Ministry of foreign affairs of the Netherlands, this initiative focuses on protection, legal identity, and localization. the new phase will be implemented in 14 countries, including Afghanistan, Algeria and Ethiopia

Advancing skills development and mobility in Vietnam

A project supporting Vietnam's future workforce by building skills and facilitating labour mobility in the context of the green transition. Budget: USD 300,000.duration: 2024-2026

Progress: Gender-Responsive, Safe and secure Migration in Nepal

Aims to promote orderly migration pathways in Nepal, with a strong focus on gender-responsive policies, cooperation with destination countries, and engagement with the private sector.

Strengthening Access to regular Pathways for Labour Mobility in Tonga

Supports the government of Tonga in enhancing safe, regular labour mobility opportunities, with emphasis on protecting migrant rights and ensuring gender sensitivity. Duration: 2024-2026

Chad Crisis Response plan 2025-2026

Provides humanitarian assistance, livelihood support, and community resilience measures in crisis-affected regions of Chad. Implementation timeframe: 2025-2026

IOM Innovation Facility

Launched in 2024 to faster innovative solutions to migration challenges. Selected projects receive USD 50,000-80,000 in funding and can run for up to 12 months.

Healing Pathways - Psychosocial Support for Refugees and Migrants

This project provides trauma-informed counseling and community-based support to refugees and migrants affected by displacement. Through safe spaces, professional therapy, and peer-support networks, it helps individuals recover from migration-related trauma, build resilience, and integrate more successfully into host communities.
